This next restoration is a 1936 Mehlin & Son Baby Grand. I will be doing another complete restoration. Attempting to lighten up the dark Mahogany.

The Plate will be painted and re-strung and ivory key repaired and whitened.

Here are a few pictures when it arrived:

   Removed strings and plate. Prepping to paint.

Plate is cleaned with Lacquer thinner and imperfections repaired.

Normally I install the understring felt but in this case a couple of the plate screws are under the felt. I will wait till the plate is installed for this.

Completed Sound Board	Ivory keys repaired, lightened and buffed. Sharps also painted.
**COMPLETED!**MAY20,08      Note: This piano was custom matched to a drawer front supplied by the customer. I used a double flash when taking these pictures . It made piano look brighter in color. The last 3 pictures are taken with regular flash.
