This Wurlitzer C was totally restored for Disney World and can be seen at the Blue Horse Shoe at Magic  Kingdom.

    Restoration:

Plate was painted black. Restored in green like original. securing bridge Completed sound board. Repairing all cracks. Installed and strung.
Had to re veneer most of the piano.

Front spindles where in bad shape so I had to turn a pair on the lathe.

All of the pump rods where cracked so as you can see I made quite a few sets. Just need sanding and finish.

Since I had it available, I duplicated the slide valve for the sustain/soft. The unit on the right is new. Just a few nipples that had to be made. All new pneumatics for the stack PLUS new bushed fingers made by RMR.

sealed leather Stack pouches again. When are people ever going to learn. As always these are hard and hardly flex. Only 10 years in piano.

Now replaced back to Zephyr like ORIGINAL! Ready for another 50+ years. Pneumatics for Pipe chest. All new. Installed

Shelf was moved to allow for the oversized wrong drums.

New drums and brackets where made to closer match the originals with real leather heads. Tracker bar before Tracker bar after. I also install a screen that most units are missing.

Built junction box for pipe hoses. Just remove 3 screws and the chest can be removed.

Here is showing the hemp cord hinge on the pressure pump.FYI, I rarely use tacks on pumps but I used a heavier skin for this pump because of the amount of use it will get. Covered hinge. I restore so many pumps I had forgot to take pictures of the finished pump but you can see them on the completed pictures. Everything in place.
