1923 Lakeside Chicago
This is a beautifully restored
standard player piano with a Simplex Action. The
player and the Hammer assembly has been
totally rebuilt. Case is Mahogany with a gloss
finish. This piano you can pump with your feet or
can play by itself. It has a quiet electric vacuum
with a push button start with auto rewind and auto
shutdown. Basically you just put the roll in and
push the start button and the piano does the rest,
Just sit back and enjoy. Please contact me for more
info.

Vintage Snare Drum
Beater
THIS IS A WOODEN SNARE DRUM WITH ACTION MOST
LIKELY FROM A LATE STYLE PHILIPS JAZZ BAND ORCHESTRION. IT HAS A
DAMPER THAT RESTS AGAINST THE SNARE WIRE SO WHEN DRUM IS NOT
PLAYING YOU WONT GET ANY VIBRATION FROM THE STRINGS. THE SNARE
IS MADE OF WIRE WOUND SILK STRINGS WHICH WAS COMMON FOR THIS
VINTAGE. WHEN VACUUM IS APPLIED THE DAMPER LIFTS OFF
AND THE REITERATING MALLET STRIKES DRUM.
THIS WAS RESTORED USING THE ORIGINAL PARTS. NO PARTS WHERE
DUPLICATED OR ADDED. IT WAS TOTALLY RESTORED. THE ONLY ITEM THAT
WAS ADDED WHERE THE NEW CALFSKIN BATTER HEADS. I WANTED TO
MENTION THIS BECAUSE I GET COMMENTS FROM PEOPLE AFTER THEY HAVE
SEEN THE BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES COMMENTING TO ME THAT IT
LOOKS LIKE I HAD REPLACED PARTS. I TAKE THAT AS A COMPLIMENT.
